What we collect
This site is a set of static pages. It uses a self-hosted Umami analytics script to record aggregate page views, campaign parameters in links, and checkout-button clicks. It sets no cookies, does not use advertising pixels, and does not identify you or build a profile about you. We do not have user accounts, and we do not have a server or database of our own.
What happens when you buy
Purchases are handled entirely by Polar, which acts as merchant of record. When you select Buy, you leave this site for Polar's hosted checkout. Polar collects and processes your email address, payment details, and the billing or location information it needs for tax purposes. Use Monochrome never sees your payment details and stores no record of your order.
Polar's handling of your data is governed by Polar's own privacy policy. Your files are delivered and stored by Polar, and you retrieve them through Polar's customer portal by confirming your email address.
Hosting logs
This site is served by Bunny.net, with DNS and network protection from Cloudflare. Both process technical request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) as an ordinary part of serving and protecting a website. We do not build profiles from these logs or use them for marketing.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests to access, correct, or delete data relating to a purchase should be directed to Polar as the controller of that data. If you are unsure where to start, write to hello@usemonochrome.com and we will point you to the right place.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is published here with a new effective date.
