Effective
What you are buying
Each product is one original wallpaper, supplied with files for desktop, tablet, and mobile and delivered as a single ZIP archive. If the product page shows Light and Dark versions, both are included in that ZIP. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any local tax; Polar, as merchant of record, calculates and adds tax at checkout and issues your receipt.
Licence
On payment you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the wallpaper for your own personal use, on any number of devices you personally own.
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publish the files; make them available for download elsewhere; sell or give away prints or merchandise made from them; use them in a commercial product, service, advertisement, or client work; use them to train machine-learning models; or claim authorship of them.
Use Monochrome retains all copyright and all other rights in the artwork. Buying a wallpaper buys a licence to use it, not ownership of it.
Delivery
Delivery is digital and immediate. After payment, Polar grants you access to your files through its customer portal, and sends a receipt containing a link to that portal. Access is not time-limited. Returning to the portal later requires confirming your email address, which is how Polar verifies you.
Availability of your files
Your access to files is maintained by Polar. Keep your own copy of the ZIP once you have downloaded it; we cannot restore access to files if your Polar account access is lost, and we do not hold a separate record of your purchase.
Accuracy
We describe every wallpaper honestly and identify the device categories included. Your operating system may scale or position a file differently on a particular screen; this is normal and is not a defect.
Liability
The wallpapers are supplied as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Use Monochrome is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be limited.
