Right of Withdrawal (EU / UK)
Effective
This page explains your right to withdraw from a purchase, and the waiver you agree to at checkout.
The normal rule
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, and equivalent UK regulations, a consumer buying online normally has 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason.
The exception for digital content
That right does not apply to digital content supplied immediately, provided you have given your express prior consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
What this means here
Everything sold on this site is digital content, delivered immediately after payment. Before your purchase completes you are asked to confirm both points above. By completing your purchase you:
- expressly request that we begin delivery immediately, and
- acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins.
Delivery begins as soon as your payment completes and Polar grants access to your files.
You are still protected
Waiving the right of withdrawal does not waive your other rights. If the files are faulty, do not match their description, or are not delivered, you remain entitled to a remedy. See Refunds, or write to hello@usemonochrome.com.
Before you buy
If you would rather keep your withdrawal right, do not complete the purchase. There is no way to buy these files without immediate delivery.
